Healthy Eating Physical Activity Coordination Committe (HEPA)

The Growing Healthy (HEPA) Healthy Eating Physical Activity Coordination
Committee is comprised of individuals representing the healthcare
community, local and state government, school system, wellness centers, food
industry, and business. The goals of this committee:

1. Reduce and/or prevent pediatric obesity in the greater Sioux Falls Area.
2. Create a community awareness of healthy lifestyles for children
   prenatal-to 18 years old.
3. Create a community infrastructure to develop and sustain efforts to
   reduce and/or prevent pediatric obesity in children prenatal- 18 years old
   in the greater Siouix falls area.
