The Growing Healthy Initiative has several committees that provide structure and guidance for our movement. There are four committees that could use your input:
(HEPA) Healthy Eating Physical Activity Coordination
Committee
Comprised of individuals representing the healthcare
community, local and state government, school system, wellness centers, food
industry and business.
Healthcare Coordination Committee
Comprised of
individuals representing the healthcare community, industry, schools and
government.
Coordination Community Awareness Education Committee
Comprised of individuals representing the healthcare community, non-profit
agencies, business, industry, media, marketing and concerned citizens.
Evaluation Coordination Committee
Comprised of
members associated with the South Dakota Dept. of Health and Healthcare
Providers from South Dakota and Iowa.
